Raz Blog 31/3/2020 (Pera)

Raz blog 31/3/2020 (Pera) I just finished some background admin work of musicians... reporting past set lists to PRS for our live performances.

Most of the time, the venues we play at are apparently not on PRS' licensed venue list, so we get nothing from it. Other times, we accumulate peanuts over the span of a year for all our live performances.

I'd like to use this post to appreciate venues that have been paying musicians who play on their stages. You help keep the arts alive, and you encourage more people to go out and enjoy the live music of here and now.

Making music, recording and performing is a real job, and it's our job. We are all doing our best to make the most of the current situation in which venues, promoters, musicians, and music lovers are all struggling.

Thank you to everyone who recently discovered us, tuned into our live stream gig, bought our CDs and merchandise, and followed our social media. In times like now, this means so much to us, and we want you to know how much we appreciate you.

Comment your first memory of us, and venues/people you know that have been supporting the music scene.
